J.W. Motor Repairs Ltd - MOT Testing and Repairs:

We are a Class IV MOT Testing Station which means we can MOT cars and light commercial vehicles (up to certain weight constraints). Your vehicle will be tested by a qualified MOT Tester (all of our testers have at least 10 years experience). The tester will brief you personally on the outcome of your test and discuss any recommendations they may have.

We have a very efficient MOT Testing process :

Your MOT will be carried out within the dedicated slot allocation.

You are most welcome to wait in one of our viewing rooms, one of which is right next to the test bay (should you wish to observe the test on your vehicle). Alternatively you can leave the vehicle with us and collect it later, at your convenience.

If your vehicle passes the test you will receive your new MOT test certificate and a printed listing of any advisory items that you should be aware of for future maintenance planning (if applicable).

If your vehicle does not pass the test* we will provide you with a free quotation for repair (at your request).

We allow one FREE RE-TEST (within 10 working days), for all vehicles that do not pass.

Note: Free RE-TEST whether we repair the vehicle for you or not !
(Not all garages offer this service).

*Just another point: We try to adjust headlamp aim (a common failure item) wherever possible. This service is free of charge. If there are minor repairs required, we can often do them on the same day to save a return visit. Of course work will only be carried out with owners permission.
